Eugene Family Chosen as Recipient for Grant House
On Thursday March 23, 2006, a Eugene family will meet the many people who helped build their brand new Hayden Home in the homebuilder’s community of Shadow Glen in Eugene.

(EUGENE, OREGON) – At 12:00pm on Thursday, March 23, 2006, a Eugene family will meet the many people who helped build their brand new Hayden Home in the homebuilder’s community of Shadow Glen in Eugene. George Davidson and Andrea Gonzalez were selected, in cooperation with the Housing and Community Services Agency of Lane County, to be the newest recipients of a Hayden Giving Fund Grant House. They will own the home on an interest-free loan.

With the help of over 29 local trade partners, manufacturers, and craftsmen—who provided donated labor and materials towards the project—the family have a home of their very own. The 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is the Fund’s fourth Grant House to be dedicated in the last 5 months. In the fall of 2005, the Fund dedicated a Grant House in Hayden Homes’ hometown of Redmond, Oregon. Subsequent Grant House dedications took place in Pasco, Washington and Moses Lake, Washington. The Fund plans to award another Grant House next month in Roseburg. Several others are planned for dedication in 2006 in both Oregon and Washington.
